This is a space for actors & creators of historically marginalized genders* who are in the process of building their careers and bodies of work, to gather for conversation, engage in creative and career development and build skills through experiential learning.
*Our definition of historically marginalized genders includes transgender women, cisgender women, transgender men, non- binary individuals and all gender identities which have been systematically oppressed by those in power throughout history- especially as pertains to discrimination and exclusion in the entertainment industry.
weekly drop- in practice
Land, breathe and take some time at the beginning of each week to connect with your reflective and creative practice.
We will start with breath awareness and gentle movement to ground and centre. We will then spend the majority of the hour journaling in response to introspective writing prompts. We will close with a simple meditation or visualization.
These sessions are live over zoom. You're welcome to have your camera off or on, whatever feels most comfortable for you in the moment. The level of interaction is absolutely flexible. This is time for you to nourish yourself and your practice knowing that the collective is doing the same.
Every call will be recorded so that if you can't join live, you can follow the practice later in your own time.
